  • “Connecting your smart device requires a WiFi signal at your desired location. Please have WiFi username and passwords handy when our Crew Member arrived.”

  • “For battery powered cameras, or doorbells please plug them in and charge your devices battery before your Crew Member arrives (~5-10 hrs).”

  • “For plug-in cameras, be sure you have a working outlet within ~20 feet of desired placement.”

  • “You will get a coursity call about 30-45 minutes before the Crew Member arrives.”

Verify a Customer's Appointment

  1. Log into the Portal  [Dispatch Portal]
  2. Open the Work Order tab it will look like this.
  3. Look for Your customer in the “Contact Name” list
    1. 4th column from the left
    2. OR create a filter for the last name.
  4. this will give you and “ETA” of when the Crew Member will arrive

Yes, a functioning thermostat is required in order for the Crew to install a smart thermostat.

What if my HVAC is not Compatable with my Smart Thermostat?

While most 24V heating and cooling systems are compatible with smart thermostats, there are some older HVAC systems that aren’t compatible. Our Crew Member will give you his recomendations after he has inspected the HVAC system

How much dpes the Support Crew charge for a Smart thermostat installation?

At the Support Crew, a smart Thermostat cost $119.95 to installed by a professional. We believe in helping you create the connected home of your dreams. If your smart device requires additional non-standard add-ons (e.g. thermostat common wire) the technician will assess the work and quote the additional cost.

Can the Crew install multiple Smart Thermostats?

The Crew can install multiple smart thermostats if your existing zoned system is capable of handling multiple thermostats.
